Fragrances

Interesting facts

Fragrances consist of a mixture of fragrant ingredients that give your laundry a pleasant scent. Of the several thousand different perfume components used to create pleasant and long-lasting scents, some are more frequently associated with allergies than others and are therefore mentioned on the packaging of cosmetic products as well as detergents and cleaning products. They are therefore also clearly identified on Persil labels. The aim is to enable people with a known allergy to avoid products containing the substance at the time of purchase.

How do we use frangrances?

Fragrances not only give your laundry a pleasant and long-lasting scent, but also the Persil products themselves. Depending on the variant, we also select the fragrances so that you can enjoy the scent of clean, freshly washed laundry for longer. In addition, some specially developed perfumes combat unpleasant odours, which is particularly important for sportswear. All the fragrances we use comply with all legal requirements and have been extensively tested for health compatibility. Our sensitive products do not contain any fragrances that have to be declared.

Where does the ingredient come from?

Some of the fragrance ingredients in Persil come from nature. However, some ingredients are also artificially produced to eliminate unwanted by-products from nature or to provide sufficient quantities.
